The Hankey Center at Wilson College is dedicated to preserving the history of its students, faculty, and surrounding communities. Among our various physical and digital collections, we are proud to include many Clover Club memorabilia – including menus, publications, and correspondence – within our Alexander K. McClure collection, as McClure was the club’s longest-running president. Our digitized materials are only a small part of the larger collection stored within the Hankey Center’s archives. For instance, one book not featured in the digital archive is our copy of Clover Leaves: A Commemorative Volume published in 1885. This large volume contains a collection of political essays, short stories, and poetry written by club members. If you would like to learn more about McClure’s life and his involvement with the Chambersburg and Wilson College communities, we provide access to this digital archive. There is also a display case dedicated to McClure located in Norland Hall.
